A good wetsuit is essential.
The water in Cornwall stays cool even in summer. A well-fitting wetsuit will keep you warm, flexible and comfortable throughout your surfing lesson. At Big Blue Surf School, we provide high-quality wetsuits suited to the conditions on the day.
Boots, gloves and hoods in winter.
If you book surfing lessons in Bude between late autumn and early spring, we will make sure you have suitable wetsuit accessories. These keep you warm and make it easier to stay focused on learning rather than the temperature.
Rash vest or surf top.
We provide these to go over your wetsuit. They help prevent rubbing and also make you easily visible to your instructor.
Swimwear for underneath.
