Sirens Ladies Surf Club

Our Aim:

Sirens is a ladies-only surf club welcoming surfers of every ability. More than just surf lessons, it’s a community built on friendship, encouragement, and support. Our aim is to create an inclusive space where women can surf together, grow their skills, and build confidence in the sea.



Session Timing and Details

  • Saturday Mornings: 9–11 or 11.30 - 1.30pm (Different session times can also come into play, as we operate our sessions around the tide times for the best waves)
  • Tuesday Evenings (Summer only): 18:00–20:00 (daylight and conditions permitting)

We meet at Summerleaze Beach car park by Big Blue Surf School’s trailers, by the entrance to the beach (EX23 8HJ).

We’re also running cross over sessions at Widemouth bay - keep an eye on our calendar to find out when these are

Coaching & Environment

  • Led by fully qualified female surf coaches and Beach lifeguards
  • High coach-to-student ratio
  • All abilities welcome, beginners to advanced
  • For ages 14+

Cost

  • £12 per session if you bring your own gear.
  • £15 per session if you need to borrow a wetsuit or surfboard (or both) — please allow time to get kitted up before the session starts.

Meet Our Lead Sirens Coaches

Tia

Tia, our assitant manager, is one of our surf-obsessed coaches, always chasing waves and never far from the ocean.She’s passionate and determined to create a safe, supportive and energetic environment where women and girls of all ages and backgrounds can enjoy the sea.With nearly a decade of experience working in and around the water, Tia has steadily advanced her qualifications to help encourage more women to get involved and feel confident stepping into the industry.Whether you’re looking for skilled coaching or a boost of confidence in and around the water, Tia’s your girl!

Kate

Kate learned to surf with Sirens Ladies Surf Club (aged 46) through Big Blue Surf School. Inspired by the coaches she met there, she began the adventure to qualify as a coach and now can be found passing the stoke to fellow surfers through coaching the Sirens Ladies Surfing Club, as well as volunteering with the charity AdSurf. This season she’s got her sights set on exploring more surf spots on her days off!
